Crowning The Ravel Hotel is Penthouse 808, a 9,500 square-foot indoor/outdoor rooftop restaurant, lounge and events space that offers breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and Queensboro bridge. Our Climate controlled facility allows for year round events and available for any occasion, while still maintaining the integrity of the views you would find during the warmer months.

Food & Drink

Our Hawaiian and Asian inspired pacific rim fare from executive Chef Seth Levine is served nightly for dinner. Mouthwatering menu items like the Angry Lobster which is served inside a bird cage and our 24oz Signature Rib Eye with grilled pineapple are two of our most popular dishes, along with our creative sushi dishes. All items on our menu are great for sharing or just simply enjoy traditionally a la carte.

The cocktail menu created complements menu items by using select spirits paired with fresh fruit and vegetables found throughout the Pacific Rim. Large format cocktails served in smoking Tiki heads are available and perfect for groups to share. Guests can also choose a bottle of wine or sake from our reserve list to accompany their meal.

The Chef

Executive Chef Seth Levine is the Executive Chef at Penthouse808 Asian Pacific Bistro. After appearing on Fox’s hit reality tv show, “Hell’s Kitchen: Season 5,” Chef Seth Levine has been taking the culinary world by storm - a dream he has had since childhood – and he has built quite an impressive resume since leaving the show in 2007. In 2009, Levine opened his first restaurant and became the executive chef at Georgica in East Hampton. Later that year he also took on the role at Wine and Roses on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

Levine currently presides over three other wildly popular restaurants including Hotel Chantelle (lower east side) and The Stand (Gramercy) and now The Regal (Williamsburg) Levine admits that his passion for food started from a very early age. “I have to believe it is something i was born loving. I was intrigued at such a young age, not only by the actual ingredient but the creation ofa dish: the art of plating. I found myself watching every cooking show from “Yan Can Cook” to “Julia Child” and my favorite - “Great Chefs of the World,” can also thank my parents for allowing me to make a mess in the kitchen.
